Little children

I am painting little girls for the next ten paintings in my portfolio. I will probably have to use pinterest to find the source of the next six. Since I haven’t any other children to paint yet.

I went live on my fb page Tobi Road Studio Saturday afternoon. I thought I would paint while holding my iphone in my left hand and my paint brush in my right hand. I lasted for about 20 or so minutes and had to stop. I’ll try again but must come up with a way to position my iphone while I am painting.

This evening I’m hoping to start the transparent oil layer to both of my paintings. In this class we paint two paintings at a time.

24×36 gallery canvas – coworker provided the source for my painting, her as a child with an alpaca.

20×24 gallery canvas – cousin provided the source of my painting; her daughter when she was much younger.

It amazes me how I’ve developed my style and slowly but surely the painting comes to completion. Also amazing is how I can paint two at a time in a week! I am so grateful to the Milan Art Institute online mastery program. It’s a great way to brush up on your artwork skills or learn how to paint.
