Did you ever go to school and have someone review your homework? Me neither. Assignments went directly to the teacher. I was a A student. I loved school, until I no longer went to school. I took a few college classes in accounting. I should have went to UC Berkeley after high school, but it wasn’t in life’s journey.
After graduation I got a job then another and another etc. Met friends and a husband in one of those jobs. One friend we still meet once a month for over 45 years.
Now I’m back in school, art classes and I have mentor. She lives in Guatemala, and she is one hour ahead of me in time. We keep in touch via the Telegram app. After each assignment, I will send her photos of the source and my artwork. I expect to get straight As, but she gives out claps. I have gotten five claps on some assignments, along with feedback great job! really great, super good, pretty proportional, a bit off but not a big deal, Love how expressive, yes!!!
My husband asks me what was your mentor’s response after I finish an assignment. I screen shot the response and send it to him in a text message.
On the painting assignments I will send to ChatGPT before sending to my mentor. Where was ChatGPT when I was going to school? Crazy technology today.
I am loving these classes. So happy for all the technology too!
