My goal is to try writing once a week on my website. I ended this work week with the idea to move the little bit of money that I had in the stock market to a safer wiser account. I enjoyed buying and selling stocks while I was home recovering from chemo and radiation. But as this week comes to an end I’m thinking that I should have moved the money a year ago; the value has dropped in half. When I invested I knew it was money I could afford to lose, like buying a scratcher once in a while. I have a e-trade account. I just traded 4 stocks to sell on Monday at the close of the market.
On Thursday at work we watched a nasty car accident in the clean up stage. We were all quietly in our cubicles/offices and then we heard a loud boom. It sounded like thunder, but we weren’t sure. Co workers in the window offices said on no it was a crash. A jeep had flipped over and landed back on it’s tires, but the top of the jeep was all over the ground in the intersection. A transit bus was at the stop light with two cars smashed into it from behind. One after another the cops showed up then 3 fire engines and 4 ambulances. We stood in the conference room windows watching from the 4th floor of the office building that I work in. Around 4:45pm I got in my car and cautiously drove home. I was relieved to get home safely and that night I had dreams about car racing.
Thursday afternoon during my lunch hour; I sat in my cubicle and ate my salad. I watched an episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County , Season 4 on my iphone. I paint on my watercolor mixed media black pad of paper. My coworker saw one of my paintings and wanted to buy it. Then another one saw and asked for one also.
I gave them away. I took pics so I could print them for future use if I wanted too. But I use these paintings for the background for my jewelry.
It’s 9:00am and I want to go to Hobby Lobby to get some silver beads and chain. I’m making jewelry sets. The necklace is 16″ and I want to put a separate 2″ extender chain in each set. Each set comes with necklace, bracelet and earrings. I sell them from $30.00 to $45.00 each. I also have different types of chain extender lengths to purchase separately.
